At what phase does hypo kill Ich?

Just a quick question about hyposalinity and Ich.

At what phase of the Ich lifecycle does hypo kill the parasite? Is it the visible infectious phase, free swimming, cyst on the substrate, etc...?

Hypo stops ich at the tomont stage (reproductive stage off of the fish).
