ATI 4 Bulb Recommendation

Hi all, time to change my bulbs and I am going all ATI bulbs this time. I am thinking a purple plus, 2 coral plus and either a blue plus or a true actinic. Does this combo sound good for coral growth and a bluish look to the tank? Also, how many of the bulbs should I change and a time and how long should I wait between changes?

2 blue plus
1 purple plus
1 coral plus

2 coral plus if you want a whiter look.

1 year if cooled properly, less if no cooling.

Thanks Mike. I mean when I change my bulbs, should I change all 4 at once? Or should I change one or 2, wait a few days and change the other 2.

I do them all at once. Raise the fixture and/or cut back a couple hours for a couple days.

+1. Blue+ bulbs aren't as blue as you'd think. The above is very similar to a combo I ran for a while (I used the aqua blue special because the coral+ wasn't out yet). I even ran 3 blue+ and one purple+ for a while. That gave a 20KK look.

Would 4 bulbs be enough to grow sps in a 29 gallon?

yeah you can grow sps under an ATI 4 bulb for sure. might just have to keep the higher light ones up closer to the light
