ATI 6bulb 24 watt height

Just wondering what you think the height should be on the tank for a 40 breeder on 6 bulb 24 watt. Right now I'm at 6in and I'm wondering if that's a good height. I have 450 par in the middle on my highest rock,240 on the left side rock in the middle of it, the far leftside over hang has 130. On the rightside middle of the rock its hitting 260, the far right lower over hang is 130. On the sand in the middle I'm hitting 250, left side 175, right side 135. Just wondering if i need to adjust anything.

I have the same light on my 40b and I keep it at 8", i don't have any problems at that height.

I have my ATI fixture 6" above the water line in a 18" tall tank. I can grow SPS on the sand bed! Love ATI T-5s!

i have mine at a good 12 in from the top so that I can work inside the tank ( shouldnt be tho lol) and due to the fact that it burned my entire first batch of sps at 1/2 the height of the tank and at 50% pwr. and these are acros and montis im talking about.
