ATI BM200 and BM250

How much better do you really think the BM-300 will be as opposed to the BM-250 if they are running on the same tank? As all this talk of the BM-300 seems to be overplayed as the BM-250 works like a champ, I could barely imagine something doing that much better...

Does anyone have an approx fottprint on the BM300? Will it be much different than the BM250?

total different and a lot of surprise the footprint will be about 12" , i can't tell now more then this , it's need to be come first from Mr' Oliver from ATI (hope you understand that).

How many gallons will the BM300 handle?

hard to say that exactly , but i believe it will handle 1000 gallon easy and i believe more.

by the way you can see in this link the new controller on one pump on the BM250 (you can see how much LPH this pump pull more the same as 2 standard pull)

The pumps must be those Tunze turbelles that are controllable like the streams... that would make sense. A large one of those on a singlecontroller, all modded and ready to go...

i believe because of that speed the bubble will be more fine then they are now , it also will give a lot of option to tune the skimming preformance , i just can't wait to see the foam on this skimmer:)

So for performance vs cost. Is there anything else in these guys range? Seems you get quit a bit for your money... I'm really trying to hold out for an external model for 230 gallon system. An internal will not currently work for me, unless I make a bunch of modifications to my sump, or just get a new one. Looking at those costs and headaches, it just seems best for me to look at external.

So far times have not been given for external models. Is there anything else that is close to this. I HATE waiting..... Oh height is an issue too. Must be 28inches or less. I have 29.5 total clearance, but need remove to remove the top.

Laguna max-flo and powerjet pumps. We are getting up to about 120 scfh (3430 lph) with about 80some watts on a 2400.

These pumps can't be run in SW can they?

mavgi,

do you know if they are going to redo the bm-250 with one of the new pumps instead of 2 of the older kind ?

Oliver... what price are we looking at here? :)

Yeah, how 'bout a heads up.

And can we have a "real" estimate on the release of an external?
