ATi BM200 leaking air problem

Hi i have an ati bm200 thats leaking microbubbles where the pump connects to the body, my skimmer did not come with any tubing that connects the pump to the body i'm wondering if this is the problem? My pump (the black part) just fits into the tube coming out of the base of the skimmer, i've seen some pictures where people have a little two inch long plastic piece in between the pump and body, is this after market?

Yes. there is supposed to be a short length of silicone tubing that goes inside the pump and the body of the skimmer to make the connection.

thanks sjm, does anybody know where i can buy that? and what size it is supposed to be, can i use regular hose?

You could use vinyl hose if you cant find silicone. Bring the pump to the hardware store and get something that fits.

Contact Greg from Reef Geek i believe he will send you that piece of tube. or you can modify one and fine in hardware store tube that will fit (the original is metric)
