ATI cooling fan questions!

I recently bought the 60 inch 8 bulb ATI fixture and the cooling fans do not shut off automatically....I was wondering what is the best setting for the cooling fans to be on?? and Do I let the fans run 24/7 or should I put the fans on a timer?

Mine come on automatically
Is yours dimmable version?
If not then my old non dimmable version I put the fans on their own timer

No I have the non dimmable Sunpower Fixture.......Did you have them cut off when 6 of the bulbs went off or when all of them turned off?

you should have them run for a few min after all lights are off. This is to cool the ballasts and bulbs off before complete shut down....

Depends on your room temp my house is normally around 75-78 degrees and with a par meter I found that i got the highest par readings from 6v and I run my fans on a timer 5min before they come and 5min after

Yeah I run my house at same temp also....I was thinking I could run my cooling fan timer with my led strips I have....so the fans would come on about 2 hours before t5s come on and the cooling fans would turn off about 2 hours after the fixture turns off....would that be okay?

Don't see a problem but my shorten the the life of the fan since your running it 4hrs longer everyday
