ATI Powermodules

I love the ATI fixtures but I don't see a comparable without going to 2 fixtures, the new ATI seems to be more led than T5 and I love my T5's.

My new build is 14' long x 36" wide x 30" deep, maybe my question to you all should be how would you light this tank. Mixed reef.

That's not a typo- 14 feet?

Thats's some size tank. I don't see how you get around not having two 72" fixtures.

Frank, money is always a consideration. I did build a canopy of T5's over my last tank but wanted something a bit more sleek and easy to move this build. I have used Halides and want to get away from them and I am not sold on the led's except to give the tank some shimmer.

Ken, not a typo, 14' long, I know i will need at least two fixtures lengthwise but was hoping to have cover the width with one.

(3) 48" Sunpower would cover the length. I guess (6) Total would cover length & width. Maybe (6) 6 bulb units.

Boy that's a lot of bulbs. I love T5s, my favorite. But how bad do you want T5? lol

I dont' know what would be cleaner - 6 sunpower or a bunch of LED fixtures.

Cleaner or better? :) I wouldn't switch from T5 to LED. I would go with metal halide with T5 supplement though if a chiller is acceptable.

Today I stopped by a plant shop and they have what look like nice T5HO fixture 48" with 12 54W bulbs for $450, is there any reason I shouldn't go with that?
