I don't want to be a bad guy. I'm going to take this further. Many fires are caused each year by salt corroded electrical equipment. Not just aquarium related. Think coastal areas with salt wind spray and humidity. I'm no lawyer, but I'm willing to bet a public forum posting stating your not holding that company accountable for their accident could very likely release liability in the event of a bigger accident. Now your insurance sees this and things start rolling down hill.
I personally would call ati for their recommendation at minimum for peace of mind.
