anybody been? I tried doing a search but I'm not a premium member.

I have seen mixed reviews but just wanted to hear more information.

Never been to that one. Someone local went and took pics.
I'll go search for the thread.

I'm finally going to Shedd's during IMAC this year!

shedds was awsome when i went.

for the hardcore reefer, nothing is as good as what you'll find in our own tanks though.

The atlant aquarium was great(a little pricey though) That huge tank is awesome you can walk through it something like jaws 3 lol. The reef was just getting started and not fully grown in yet..

well worth the price
i took my avatar pick there also!

Thanks for noticing that the reef exhibit is still new, and will need 2-3 more years to mature into being incredible. It is really hard to be patient! You can see the growth now, but the biggest colony in a 164,000 gallon exhibit looks pretty puny. If the experience of Atlantis and Long Beach is any indication, we are right on target, and will be fragging away TOO much growth in 2-3 years.

Hope to see you there again.

Go! Just go!

I've been to a lot of aquariums, trust me its worth it.

Yes, the reef still has a few years yet to reach its full potential but man... they keep four whale sharks in a closed system! How can you miss out on that?! :D

Tell me about it. I dive with them every Sunday.....:)

Really? How about you hook me up. :D I'm PADI Open Water certified and down there at Ft Benning a couple times a year.

$300 for 30 minutes

It would be cool but I little steep seeing as you can dive in the real ocean with wild Whale Sharks for about $100 for 4 hours. Of course thats just charter fees not travel, etc.
