Hello, We decided to stay in Northampton for a few extra days before we leave for Florida and I will be heading into to Riverhead either tomorrow or Thursday and wanted to check Atlantis out. Anyone know of someone I could contact for a behind the scenes sneak peek? Thanks I will take tons of pictures and post them in a couple weeks.

Chris Paparo showed me around while I was there. I don't know what their policy is for people who do not show up with a three foot shark they are donating though. Very cool people there none the less, and some cool stuff to be seen both behind the scenes and in their general exhibits. Their RBTA tank will make you drool, and their reef nearly stopped all of my life functions cold. Ask how the Epaulette Shark from Rochester is doing if you talk to anyone :-)

Cheers!

they do a behind the scenes tour that you can pay for. as far as a contact Justjoe screen name on RC Joe is the owner i dont have his number anymore tho srry. but post something on the LIRA forum and he might be around. the pd for behind the scenes is of the hole back of the place except for the reef tank :( cause they don't want the general public in there. you easily be infront of that tank for 2 hours or more. lol

Of course seeing it in person is always better but if you don't get to see the reef tank behind the scenes I did take a million pictures and posted most of them online here in an URS thread.

sounds great guys thanks for the info. Maybe ill just play it by ear. Dont want to inconvenience anyone. I sure Ill have a good time regardless.

oh you will there is no doubt about that. Let us know if the snorkeling lagoon is open yet. prolly not since its been so cold lately.
