ATO help

I have the Jbj ATO and it's been working, but now the pump light is coming on and not pumping any water, it is just staying on. I'm not really sure why it's doing that, anyone else have this problem?

you need to lift the float valve to reset the ckt. there is a time limit to how long the pump will run then it automaticly shuts off to prevent filling your system with fresh water. If you continue to have problems because the pump is not running long enough, you can open up the unit and adjust the pot to let the pump run for a max of 15 min. i had to do this because i am using a lufter pump. If your running a hi cap pump i would not change the pot.

I have turned it off and on and pulled out the sensor and put it back in, but the sensor light and the pump light won't go off even though the water isn't pumping.

My sensor was stuck and it wasn't turning off

well that has never happend to me but did have the same effect that i was talking about and would give the indications described. well good luck and happy reefing!!!
