I am going to build myself an auto top off for my tank, I got the container for the water, I see on here where evryone plumbs with John Guest fitting, and r/o tubing. Where can you get these John Guest fittings and the 1/4" r/o tubing? Is this something that is available at Lowes or Menards? Would I just ask for John guest fitting or do they go by something else at the hardware store?

You can find them at Lowes in the plumbing department.

You may still find some at Home Depot, I bought mine @ 40% off... there were a lot left.
