ATO program is this correct?

UPDATE ...INFO:

Well, the ATO is working as it should, ie, kicking on every 3 hrs for 20 mins and only running when the ATO_Switch calls.

Final code is:
[ATO_Allow]
OSC 000:00/020:00/160:00 Then ON
If Time 13:00 to 23:00 Then OFF

However, it is still kicking on at (ATO_Allow = ON):

2:00-2:20, 5:00-5:20, 8:00-8:20, 11:00-11:20 & 23:01-23:21 each day.

SO it appears it starts the cycle at the end of the IF time command not 00:00 each new day?

No, that is not how it works. The OSC command is independent of the Time command. However, I don't have any explanation other than something to do with the clock. Send an email to Curt at Neptune and see what he says, support@neptunesys.com

You could try the following and see if it will offeset it by an hour:

OSC 60:00/20:00/100:00 Then ON

So i am getting a SHORT bs answer i guess:

>Also the controller starts each day new at 00:00 to figure it out..correct?
Not necessarily. If the period evenly goes into 24 hours then yes. Other wise it is offset from the beginning of time (Jan. 1. 1996 from the controller’s perspective).

My OSC command is an even 24hr

Also the time zone and DST come into the OSC start time calculations. That is why you are seeing it skewed by a couple of hours.

??? Oh well,

Sounds like I just have to play with it to get the right times for the pump to trigger. The time between ON & OFF is working so I will just leave it be i suppose

I updated my software to version 4.05_4B11, which appears to be the latest version. the ATO_Allow is now coming on at the times it should be.

Also do you know if it takes a while to be able to graph anything? On the graph page now, i see I can graph outlets, not just the probes, but there are no graphs that are graphed?

Yes, outlets will require at least one state change, ie OFF to ON, before they will show up. Also, it will not extend the graph to the current time. So, if it last changed to OFF and has been so for several hours, the graph ends at the last change.

Todd

well it's been almost 24 hrs since the update & it won't draw any graphs. i do get an exclamation mark in the lower left corner where it says done.

Maybe reinstall update?

It sounds like they did not install completely. You may want to perform the page update again, just to be sure. It would help if you could post a screenshot of the graph page that you are getting.

Todd

How do you take a screen snapshot?

Page update? You mean reinstall program or just click on the update button. I've done that numerous times with numerous outlets & probes....Nothing

Yes, using the firmware loader, re-install just the web pages.

To take a screenshot: Assuming you are using a MS based machine. Use the PrintScreen button and paste into an app such as PowerPoint that lets you save to a jpg. Then upload as usual.

Todd

i re loaded the web pages & that didn't help. I then reloaded the firmware & webpages & still nothing.

I have been getting an error message when I try to install the web pages, but usually on the 2nd or 3rd attemot it works.

Here are the messages if you want to see. I sent an email to neptune.

This update software is sweet! Finally all is working perfect!

Thanks Again!

Glad you got it worked out. The graphing of outlets is a great asset when troubleshooting. Heads up though, you can zoom-in on portions of the graph by using right-click and dragging a window. But don't zoom-in on a zoom-in window, sometimes it works but most of the time it will hang.
