The gel CA can be purchased at hobby shops that deal in radio controlled model aircraft (which is my *other* expensive hobby) in bult bottles. The latest gel type that I have seen is even a bit flexible (I think it may have some rubber in it), but I don't know if it is reef safe or not.

Cruise to Mexico - $750
Red hat - $15
Discovering that your son is a natural born gold miner - priceless

I just did about 50 frags of various zoas and palys the other day and I use Reef Glue, it's thick and pink and glue accelerator. The accelerator comes with a spray bottle and also with a pipette. I rinse off my frag plugs and line them up on a rack to dry while I begin to frag the zoa or paly. After the fragging is done, it's time to glue the frags unto the plugs or discs. I use the pipette to put a drop of accelerator where the frag will be glued. As it dries, I get my frag in my hand and put a drop of reef glue on the plug. I use a very tiny amount, I only want to put the foot of the cutting on the plug. I usually use a very sharp flat-edged exacto knife to chisel away the frag with a sliver of rock...it glues easier with less stress. If you are using glue accelerator be sure to work fast! I've had the glue dry before I can get the frag placed.
After placing the frag on the plug, I dip it in a container of tank water with a couple of drops of Lugol's in it for 10 seconds. It then goes into the holding container until I'm finished. I make sure there is a small heater in the holding tank set to my tank temperature so I can place them back without shocking them.

I've been very successful using this method and the zoas begin to grow quickly. I also frag from the center of the colony...they also seem to grow faster that way.
