Shots were taken with a D3100

Half the shots were a stock 18-55mm lens with a cheap macro attachment
Other shots were with a Nikkor Macro 60mm lens

My gallery site automatically puts my watermark on it, and I forgot to turn it off, so, it overlayed the border. Looks silly, but oh well.

Yes, I agree very nice!

When you say "cheap macro attachment", do you mean an extension tube?

Its just a single lens that clips on the end of my standard lens. I think its basically just like a magnifying glass.

I appreciate the kind comments. Some day Ill get a good macro lens. The 60mm was lended to me but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a 1:1 Macro lens

Very nice! Only suggestions I have are to back off on the post-processing sharpening a bit. Also, instead of using auto white balance, if your camera has a K white balance setting, use that. Put the value as high as it'll go, usually 10,000K, and then put the camera into the K white balance mode. Its a two step process the first time. If it doesn't have a K white balance setting, using "cloudy" can sometimes also give better results than auto.

I disagree I love razor sharp images and even when they look a little 3dish or cartoony from over sharpening they produce a stunning look. Great job can't imagine the damage you would do with a true macro
