Attention all divers

Would anyone be interested in a weekend diving trip to Destin FL for a weekend in June, leaving Memphis on a Friday about noon and returning on Sunday? I am needing a diving fix before going down July 10. We should be able to make it down by 9 or so and dive Sat AM and Sun AM with Scubatech (scubatechnwf.com). These would be 2 tank trips with the option of staying on the boat and going on another 2 tank trip on Saturday afternoon. You could get 6 dives in on Sat. and Sun. We have made many dives on the Sea Cobra and they are a top notch outfit. Let me know if interested and a preferable weekend and I can look into some prices on hotels, dives, etc. We also could visit the Aqua Farm at the Gulfarium just over the bridge from Scuba Tech. You could place your order and they could have it ready for pickup on Sunday prior to leaving for Memphis. Also, if enough want to go, may need to rent a van. Just let me know ASAP and I will look into it. Thanks.

i'm definitely interested in learning more about this. i might want to ride my bike down though. also interested in extending it by a day, but may do that on my own if no one else wants to. i wonder how the gulf oil slick will impact this.

The Destin Post had an article yesterday and they felt like there would be very little impact. Hope that is the case. I would have no problem extending the stay until Monday if this is what everyone would want to do. We could bring your goodies back with us from the Aqua Farm, if you ride your bike. LOL.

I read an article that shows emergency workers preparing to clean up Florida shores. I hope it doesn't make it that far as I have a reservation in Pensacola in June. I had plans to dive the Mighty O, but I figure big oil will screw that up. I'm waiting to see if I need to cancel my reservations.

We were also talking about going to pensacola in June, hope they can get this spill under control; what a mess!!!!

Tar balls have reached the beaches of Alabama. I will probably have to cancel my reservations soon.

Diving trip off. Looks like our 2 weeks on Okaloosa Island are going to be changed to Culebra/Vieques PR.
