Attention GIRS Website Users!

I'm in the process of looking over our website and finding ways that we can make it into a more useful resource for our club.

As part of this process, I would like to evaluate a couple of new "modules" for use on the site and I would like to find a few people who are willing to look these modules over and let me know what they think.

If you would be willing to spend a bit of time helping out with this effort, please send me a private message and I will give you more information.

I don't expect that this will take a ton of time, but I would be more than willing to accept as much or as little time as people are willing to give.

Also, if you want to help out, please make sure you have a user account on our website before you PM me. It seems like there are a lot of new people out there that don't even know we have a website!

Hey JB,

I am willing to help. Also, if by any chance you are considering a better forum .... I have the software for free. Actually it is available for free to anyone. You can look at it at forums.mapcon.com. It is more like RC and other standard forum software.

Last I checked, the link on our listing under regional groups was wrong.

Where is this listing? It's probably still pointing at the ".com" domain which we unfortunately don't have control of right now.

New forum software is one of the things that I'm looking into, however we really need something that integrates well into our portal software (DotNetNuke). Snitz is nice forum software, but the last thing we need is another place for someone to have to remember there login and password. Thanks for the offer though!

Yep, it's pointing to the old address. Maybe one of the BOD can ask to have this updated?

For those of you who have sent me PM's, I will be replying later on this evening with more information.

Thanks

-JB
