I am a student at the university of Cincinnati. I have to do a quick interview on someone who has the same career that i aspire to have. My paper is due on monday. I have had a hard time finding marine biologist locally(because ohio is land-locked). If anyone that is or was a marine biologist would be gracious enough to give me 5-10 minutes of your time, please pm me your phone number and the best times to contact you.

good thing you mentioned aquaculture, my paper would be either on aquaculturist or marine biologist.

i will try to get a hold of him

thanks

Just make up your interview, sounds like a pointless project
Thats messed up:mad:

If they have the time MCsaxmaster and greenbean36191 are both very knowlegeable and both are marine biology grad students if I am not mistaken. You might try PMing them to see if they are available anytime soon.
hth, Chris

Sorry, but allot of the stuff we have to do as student is pointless.

Pointless? Maybe to someone that obviously has a lot to learn.
Interviewing someone in the field you are going into is going to tell your teacher everything about what you are wanting out of the career.

Later in life you will see the things you thought were pointless really are useful.

To clarify, the pointless part of the project IMO writing a paper, not talking with someone in your chosen field. I think the time writing a paper could be better spent conducting an experiment or researching primary literature for relevant experiments that have been done. I meant no offence to reefinmike by my comment, and I apologize if I was not clear.

Have you thought about contacting a public aquarium? They often have education programs and I'm sure they could connect you with someone...and they're open weekends, so you might be able to touch base with someone today.

How much notice did they give you for this assignment? Finding a professional in any field is difficult with only a few days notice.
