You were kind enough (awhile back) to suggest some settings for me on my 7095 controller.

Quick specs:

180 gallon tank (sps dominant)
Tunze Wavebox
Tunze 6100 x 3

You told me (I wrote it down) ;) to set my 7095 controller up this way...Interval 2, 6 hour interval, 3 sec pulse, 30-100%.

My question is this, how do I set a 6 hour interval? Where on the box is this setting and what should it look like?

Also, I have the wavebox in the front left corner - facing the far right wall, then a 6100 in the far back left corner hitting the front glass, another 6100 in the far right corner hitting the front glass and then a 6100 in the front right corner aiming at the back left corner. Does this sound good? And which pumps should be in which channels?

Next, (if youre not sleeping yet due to my boring post) ;) What is the ideal size of the wave I should be getting in a 180? I have a pretty good one, but think it could be better. Can I realistically shoot for a 2 inch wave? The tank has the room for it, but I don't know if I should move the dial from where it is. lol I don't want to lose the setting...I guess I could mark where it is located now...

Lastly, do you think the 3 6100's is overkill with the wavebox? I LOVED the wavebox when I had it running alone...after I put the 6100's in the tank, I lost my cool polyp dancing. Obviously this tank has some serious flow ripping through it, but is the wavebox even doing anything now?

THANKS AGAIN!

I am not Roger but i would like to give it a try.

You don't set the 6hrs turnover. :D. Make sure you follow your instruction to set the interval II properly it will automatically do it for ya.

Too many pumps hitting the front panel will disturb your wavebox flow at some degree. I prefer two far end tunze points accross the tank without bouncing the front or back panel while the 3 tunze stream on the same side with the wavebox can bounce anywhere you want :D.

I would set the two pumps on the opposite end on 1 channel and the third pump on the other.

Ideal size of wave in 6f long tank should be around 1.5" - 2" but it varies depend on your aquascape.

You shouldn't worry about changing the dial. You should play with it more often to get the feel it. You'll never know if you don't try.

I don't think 3x6100 is over kill but it all depend on what animals you are keeping. Try to have the stream flow the length of your tank without bouncing and your PE may improve....

To set the 6 hr interval. Push the interval button until it is at 2-12hrs. Turn the interval knob to about 12 o clock, this should be roughly 5-6 hrs interval.
