yes its true you can attract sharks with a ribbed waterbottle\
find a 12 oz plastic water bottle with lots of ridges in it
fill the bottle 1/2 oway with water youll need to ajust your weight belt accord. roll the bottle between your hands slowly to create a crackling sound youll notice yellow fin snapper and large groupers take an interest to you when your doing it right i have done this on 5 dives and 4 out of those five a couple of white tip reef sharks cruised in to see whats going on
this sound is similar to the signal put out by a fish in distress so when the sharks come into view stop rolling the bottle or you may be come a snack lol
