August meeting idea

We have been meeting in the last serveral months, mostly hanging out, eat, helping others, sharing corals, and things like that but we haven't talk about how to improve reefing.

This month we would like your ideas. What would you like to talk about at the next meeting? We are thinking about doing a garage sale at the next meeting also but it would be nice to have a topic that we can talk about beside the BBQ.

Lets brainstorm shall we?

How about Water Keeping not Reef Keeping.

Water keeping such as reverse osmosis, salt, additives and things like that?

No. What this hobby really comes down to, We are waterkeepers not reef keepers.

August is a busy vacation month too so it might not be a bad idea to skip it. I don't see a lot of people on here lately

I like the garage sale idea and it worked well the last time we did it. Did we do the rock scape demo? I'm thinking about redoing mine so I have a lot of interest in that. We could also have a "additive brainstorm" where we figure out the best, cost effective chemicals to use. Another idea, reef related but a side note is the fish we keep in our reefs. All the not reef safe fish we have in our tanks, like angels, some triggers, etc. Just throwing ideas out there.

+1 On the rockscaping still waiting on a stand but I already have all the rock for the 58g chilling in a big tub.

Pictures looked great from last meeting........ But i very much enjoyed the meeting at grants house talking reef system setup.... Was looking forward to your little presntation Tom but didnt get around to it....

Anywhoo light is green. I would like to attend another meeting like that.

I think the garage sale should be part of the next meeting. We've all got a bunch of stuff. it might even be wise to sell some stuff to each other and the club gets 10% for the raffle fund. We could start a thread with stuff we've got
