August meeting

Hi club members,

It is time to decide on the date for this months meeting. In this meeting we will be doing the raffle drawing for the 12gallon cadlights tank that was supplied by our local sponsor and great supporter the The Coral Reef (Daniel and Leonor).

I went by TCR a few hours ago and discussed with Daniel what date would be best for him to host, and he told me that one of our own club members Juan Tristan wanted to host the meeting this month. He has been to several meetings and follows us on RC. He has a large tank that he is going to break down and restart and wants the club members to take a look at his tank before he takes it down.

We also need to discuss the next step for the frag tank.

If everybody is up for having the meeting at Juan Tristan's house let us know, and I can get in touch with him to give him the thumbs up.


Now the comes the time where we chose date and time for the meeting. We usually do the third Sunday of the month which will fall on August 21st and the usual start time is 2pmish.

Does that work for everyone? Please let us know if this works for everybody.

man o man it seems like forever since i have made it to a meeting. i think if Juan is willing to host, that is awesome. i will try to make it, but no promisses just yet. let me check my schedule with the wife and will let you know for sure if the 21st is a good day.

He has been to several meetings (mostly the ones held at the Coral Reef). Once you see him you will recognize him. He doesn't have an RC account but Im shure we can persuade him to register and put his tank redoo on the forum

Its over 200 (I dont remember exact number) and it is fully stocked with coral. It looks nice. You have to go to the meeting to see it

Correction: I just talked to Juan and it is a 180 gallon tank. LOL. but in my defense, with sump it is over 200 gallons. LOL!

He is redoing his tank because coral has over grown the tank so I don't think he needs frags just yet.

I talked to him yesterday and on the day of the meeting we will help him set up an account.
