Scotty, I have some fishtraps, but if you cant wait, I use a 2 liter cola bottle, clear, and cut the threaded part off. Then at the shoulder cut it off level. You should have a funnel entrance that fits into the bottle body snugly. Punch a small hole so you can have a line attached. Make a bridle -that is make a loop with 2 holes and then you can level out the trap.At first you might just want to feed them with the funnel not there. Then the next day put the funnel in with food, and catch them. If its for bottom shrimp like a pistol or mantis, you will have to sink it into the bottom some. A small water bottle works for them. No one will need to bring anything, unless they want to bring frags or stuff to trade. We will supply lunch and soft drinks. If you really want to bring some kind of food or dessert, thats fine. I have a weird thing going on with the 125. It has dual over flows-All-Glass 125 RR. It overflows more in the lower slots and is not skimming the top of the water. It has slots at the bottom about an inch off the sand and then right near the top, and a liner inside that makes it flow up. I can see the water flowing into the bottom faster than the top. A top film is noticable and calm. I have 2 return pumps, one Rio with 1000 GPH and a Mag Drive 1200 both have about a 5' lift. Plus 2 intank PHs. I tried turning one return off, no change. The slots are clear, I scraped them of coralline and tube worms, still no change. On another note, I just got out of the ER and my back abcess is a MERSA infection. I was on Cipro, now switching to BactrimRS I think its called. This is a resistant staph infection, made very common by people that dont take their antibiotics till their finished with the meds, just till they think they are better, and it makes the bacteria resistant to that particular antibiotic. The feeling is that people arent changing their ways and most bacteria will become resistant because of that, someday. I'm glad it wasnt Vibrio as I would have had to take a TB med for 6 months or more. Oh, I have 2 juvie Stop Light parrot fish too. One is 4" and the other is 5". All those fish are long term captives and eat flake. See Ya, Steve.
