August SCRK Meeting August 21st!

The SCRK August Meeting is getting close!!! The month's meeting is at our home base, Age of Aquariums in Signal Hill.

Daniel Gilboa, owner of Age of Aquariums will be speaking this month discussing what it is like to own and operate an aquarium store. Dan give us some of the history of Age of Aquariums and discuss the many services his company offers.

This month's meeting is on Sunday AUGUST 21, 2016 at STARTING AT 6 PM LOCATION:
Age of Aquariums
2642 Cherry Ave. Signal Hill, CA

We will have a frag tank for members only to sell or trade frags in.

But remember you DO NOT have to be a member to come to the meetings but being a member does help the club.
So please come all!
Membership is only $25 for the year and it helps us out tremendously so we can continue making this club amazing.
And of course bring you guys awesome raffle prizes!

As usual, there are plenty of Raffle prizes for this meeting.

Just added in addition to Dan's presentation Dave Morris the MACNA 2016 Co-Chairwill give a brief presentation on this years MACNA Convention in San Diego. There will be two full MACNA conference passes included in this month's raffle!
 
I'm going to try my best to make this one. I have an appointment with the cable company 1 hour before so we'll see..
Mike, I'll bring the $5 I still owe you haha. I didn't forget!
 
Sounds cool, would be a nice opportunity to meet some fellow reefers. Is this the normal meet spot? I live in Venice and I'm curious to know if there is a WLA or closer club. Cheers!

SCRK REEF CLUB MEETING
THIS SUNDAY 8/21 6-9pm

This months meeting features a double header! Dan Gilboa founder of Age of Aquariums and Dave Morris the MACNA 2016 Co-Chair . Dan will have a video of some of their more interesting installations along with a recent install that required a crane to lift the aquarium. Dave will give a brief presentation on this years MACNA Convention in San Diego. There will be two full MACNA conference and banquet passes included in this month's raffle along with corals, fish and dry goods!


You don't need to be a club member but membership does have its privileges:
Members receive a 15% livestock and equipment discount during the day of the meeting. There is also a Members frag swap and raffle, as well as Pizza and beverages. Membership fee $25/ year
