Aussie acans color question..

as you know i am getting a 9 gallon tank....it comes with two 24watt power compacts, one 6500k and one blue. Should i upgrade to 70 watt MH? I don't want my colors to fade...please let me know...

nah if you get mh, then you'll have to deal with heat problems. can you get a combo 50/50 bulb?

I would figure your just asking for a boil with only 9 gallons....I would not but don't have experience with nanos!

i don't see him/or her having heat problems and i think its a good upgrade. And I know from experience.

yeah I have a 150 over a 9 gallon with no heat issues.

it matters where you live, if you run AC all the time, and if its a pendent [also how high you hang it]. It could work, but it could also boil.

well heat is not the issue..i have done many fan mods to smaller tanks with no problems....the question is will it cause my colors to fade..i have heard people loose rainbow colors to high lights...just want to know if that is true ...Thanks guys for all the comments and concerns..
