When i got it the tail was bright red now the tail is turning jet black. Is it turning female to male.

From what I have read about them, male Scott's lose their coloration without females. Could be the case here. Hard to tell without a picture.

How are the rest of it's colors? Is it losing color in the rest the body, or is it darkening? Most likely the cause is lack of congenerics, but without knowing more the possibility of other stressers coold be at play.

All the other colors are vibrant. Trying to get a pick its allway moveing

If the other colors are vibrant and the new black on the tail is intense as well it could be transitioning from male to terminal phase male.
