Aussie SPS-Do they keep their colors in our tank?

I can tell you that my hoby test 0 nitrate and 0 phosphate and my corals do not starves. They are doign very well. I stress again, that this does not mean 0, just lowr than my test can detect.
What test kit for NO3 are you using?
API for me is always zero.
I prefer Red Sea so I can know a much lower scale. .25-4ppm

I use Salifert

To answer the question of this thread, yes I keep color or gain color on most wild aussie SPS pieces. Most pieces get between 400-600 Par under a 400w radium. My no3 is 20ppm and po4 is .04.
Whenever I had "0" nitrates, my colors were faded. Still colorful, but not deep rich color like I have at my current nutrient level.

some germany friends tell me that aussie prefer more clear water but less light then indo..

is only experience..not a RULE or a LAW..

btw 400/600 par is not strongest light we can have is a good range of photons flux..
