Aussie Stawberry Shortcake Acro

Ok I have several sps colonies and this was the first one to ever brown out on me. How long should it be browned out, because in all of my other sps color is the last problem I have. Is this common with this acro?

That's weird. I've had my colony for over a month now and it still look like day one. How much light is it getting?

Its under two 400w radiums.

I've seen this piece in the flesh and can assure you it really looks just like the pic posted. Bought my colony from these guys as they are the area's best bet for SS right now.

Really? It looks just like the pic?? If so that is freaking amazing because I have never seen a strawberry shortcake look like that...it doesnt even look like the same coral. It does seem like the saturation is bumped just for the fact that I've never seen any coral that BRIGHT. But if you say its the real deal.....

I have seen this piece myself and it's close to original. It's never easy to take pics. When the piece came in it was more pink and green. They have several pieces that morphed very differently under the same lighting. Some pieces turned red wo the green body.

Its under two 400w radiums.

Mine is under 2200K 400W Giesmann. More pink and the green is mostly gone. It didn't have much green to start with so no big deal in my case. Mine is about 16" from the bulb just off center.

It's the only piece that looks like that. The rest are either pink or red.

Nice green contrast on yours. I would love to drive more green into mine but getting white instead of green.

Hi just put it lower in your tank you will get a darker green and red .

My shortcake was looking real good, decided to update this thread with a crappy blackberry pic of mine almost 2 motnhs after having it. Came in pretty light/brown, but, has really started to encrust and color up nice.
