Austin's Innovative Marine SR-120

My Innovative Marine SR-120 arrived on Friday.

All of this cardboard and the wrappings are the sr-120.

The whole thing is around 600lbs (tank 289lbs + stand 304lbs) It took 4 guys to load it and move it. The tank & stand had no dents or scratches.

The tank is 72 x 24 x 16 and the stand is 39 inches tall.

I went out of town on Sunday so I quickly set it up, filled it with water, put my apex jr and heater on it and got on a plane. It will be lightless and cycling for the next 9 days.

Do you have a Protein skimmer planned? Looks really nice!

There will be a skimmer. Innovative does not have a skimmer designed for it yet which is annoying since it is a weird space. I heard a rumor that one is in the pipeline but that really does not help me now. Here is the only viable option I have found so far.

But for some reason the $500 price tag seems excessive.

Well it is lightless for the next 9 days since I ran out of time. But when I get back I am going to use three radion pros.

We had one the same distance from the old 4x2x2 at the old house so I don't foresee any issues. We rarely use it.

Updates-12.6.14

The tank was lightless for 11 days. I used the water and rocks from the basement system to help seed it.

I set up my lights with 2 x Radion Pros and 1 x Radion Gen 2. The Pros will be on the sides and the Gen 2 will be in the middle. At some point, I will update the Gen 2 to a pro. I swapped out the lens on the Pros to the new Wide Angle lens. I am going to par out the wide angle lens this weekend.

I used the Radion Hanging Kit and these Self Drilling Drywall Anchors.

At Macna, I met a company that said they were from a place called "Buffalo". They recently started supplying their products to ARC so I decided to give it a try. It is a 8 x 8 x 4 biofilter with a surface area of 23,000 square feet.

Here it is after I pre-soaked it.

I picked up this auto feeder as a black friday sale.

I put GFO in this media reactor.

It was a tight fit but it made it!

Here it is all set up. I just need to grab a wire cutter.
