Austrailian Duncan problems???

Iv had this colony (30+heads) neon green duncan in my tank for over two moths now and two days ago did my bi-weekly water change and they havnt opened back up or came out at all. The tank has been set up for over a year and Iv been battling with no3and po4 but this hasnt seemed to affect any of my other corals. I know my water (in my 25%change) was all good. Salinity, and parameters in my new water all perfect. Before I did my change I gently tapped the duncans so they would tuck into their "macaroni" skeleton so they wouldnt be left out in the air during the change, theyre placed high on my rock. Iv always just let them hang out while doing a change but figured id try something different this time to not stress them out as much and i feel like its almost biting me in the ***. Any thoughts on how to get them back out?? thanks

Mine sometimes tuck away for a day or two and i think its pretty normal. Mine are happy and constantly growing. I would not worry yet and just keep a eye on it.
