Australian blue torch

Saw coral collection had one like the one you have pictured. It was either 2 or 3 heads, not sure what the asking price was

i have one but i have yet to frag it out it hasnt grown another head - but i was told this is a ausie gold not blue -

Valencia pets quoted me $140 for 1 head  like, why rape your customers like that. This is mostly why I like meeting and doing business with others who share the same passions as I do.

Sometimes wholesale is near $140 per head before shipping. These "high end" corals don't have much margin in them except for the guys that name them. They are available nearly every week, no reason for the price to be so high, but wholesalers can read reef central and that other reef site and see the stupid prices a few people get.

$140 ridiculousness. But seems like they are slow growers so maybe that is why the heavy price per head. Really nice but hard for me to front $70 for one head of a coral that is likely to still be one head months later.

$140 isn't rape. A LEGIT colored up gold torch sells for $80-$120. $140 is on the high side, but I wouldn't say rape. If it's nice, offer $120. I would rather buy something in person vs having it shipped. Never know what it will look like when you get it

the store i got mine from went out of business - it was called i got coral in anehiem - i unno i think i paid like 20 bucks i went there every week while they were closing and bought corals one week they didnt have anything priced went in with like 2-3 hundred and bought a bunch of stuff for dirt cheap

True Aussie gold torch is expensive. If you've ever been in the business side of the hobby you would know that. Indo gold torch isn't as vivid or gold. The eBay link above is Indo gold not Aussie Gold.

My Aussie gold.

She said she paid $120 for it from the wholesalers lol

I got mine for 80, 3 years ago. grew to 14 heads, but lost in tank move last year.

That said, for a nice one i'd pay 100 no problem, but you can find at shows for 40-60.
