Australian SPS

Where do you guys always find nice SPS on Live Aquaria? I never see any good sps on that site...am I not looking in the right section?

in the SPS category of DD...but you gotta be on top of the updates otherwise you won't even know it was in there....because there's always people like Ian sniping in the bushes:uzi:

+1 on reputable shops

I worked @ a LFS for a year and a half. I over heard my manager claiming some corals were from Australia to make the sale. Were they in fact? I don't know but they were sure questionable. After a few more questionable methods my manager used to make a sale, I quit

The one ian got was there about 3:00 then it was gone a few later .
i also went back to buy it then gone so ian if you see this hook me up.
There is some other aussie sps on there also a few pages in.

I traded for this Aussie Acro frag in March. It was in kind of tough shape but it pulled through. It was fresh cut off of a recently trans shipped piece. I was hoping it would stay more toward the red shade, but I am still happy with how it turned out.

i dont really understand the whole aussie thing too much..in less there are a lot of cool variants that are isolated off the coast of Australia..there are gorgeous corals all over the south pacific..doesnt make much sense.

i like the new aussie SPS - not that you can't get the same thing from bali/figi/png/wherever but.. it seems like the care level from collection to purchase seems to be a bit higher making wild caught corals that have a high rate of survival

worth 10 - 20% more imo for that little bit of extra care

Bad pictures, but what the heck. I bought this frag from ATL a few months ago. New growth and color is great--picture does not do it justice at all.
