Are you still running your DI water through the copper pipe?
DI water is deprived of ions and when it gets run through a form of metal pipe it will leach the Ions out of the pipe trying to equalize the balance effectively putting copper into your tank

no its not being ran through the copper pipe, never was... redid it the first day.

Ok, well heres a few pics of the tank... Got a few more things in and some stuff isn't pictured which I wish could be but anyway heres some pictures....

Got the crocea, starfish, and a Mandarin today. also hiding in there is a 2 ft. Snowflake that I got about 2 weeks ago. Also pictures is my JBJ TopOff, (yet to get hooked up) Reactor, (yet to get hooked up) and my Ranco Controller which I am loving! Thanks for looking,,, also sorry but still only one side lit, I have the reflector, just no bulb or ballast yet. SOON!!!

Nice :thumbsup: but from my experience, the PBT is thin, try to fatten it up or things can turn bad

Its a Gold Rim, and you really think so? He chows EVERYTHING! He eats literally a sheet a day by himself, and I soak it in garlic and vitamin c every once in a while. =]

Oh, thought brown there. . . but when i first had my huge PBT (blue) he didn't show his bones/spine like yours and when he started to, he eventually died (i guess he didn't get enough food?)

I don't really know what else to feed, right now I put about a 1x2 inch peace of seaweed in there a day for them, and I do a chunk of rods daily as well, but the gold rim usually doesn't touch rods as much as I'd like him to, I don't know what else to try.

Looks really good luke. You painted you tank black right? Does it look kinda of blue in person or just in the pictures?

just pictures,,, somewhat of a realllllllllll dark blue, but majority black, bluer because of the light....

yea i just ripped off my dark blue vinyl and replaced with black.. i like it a lot better

Youre tank is really coming along nicely, and the powder brown looks great. hope he does well. Did you get the lights on the other side set up yet? How do you like the Radiums? I've had mine for a week and I'm lovin them

honestly in my opinion the radiums could be bluer.
