ha. thanks yea vice city was a sweet game now i have IV hah, anyway yea dewalt :) ,,, I'm painting tomorrow, hope it turns out good! :)

did returned the ps3, cuz i beat every cool game out for it at the time, and bought a 360 so i could have halo 3. :) but yea anyway, dude I'm not sure what to use for lights, I was leaning more towards a fish only but then again I was thinking of maybe at least going T5, but even for a nice T5 setup,, its gonna be about 400$!!! I don't have that kind of cash right now. =/

Just a question, are you going to paint the sides of your tank? I was thinking you might see threw the sides when it's in the wall.

Tagging along...savemoney on lighting check the forums here on reef central and I have had good luck on Craigs list for good deals from people getting out of the hobby and plenty of people upgrade and sell their old stuff...I have found some great deals. Looks good so far...

BTW I say 360 only because of Halo...Although I wish I would have bought a PS3 instead of a Blue Ray player that constantly needs firmware updates....Good luck!!!

UPDATE!!!

Tank is painted and sand is in, heres the update, tomorrow my RO/DI comes in and I'll hopefully get the tank plumbed and some water in there finally... !!!

and of clourse still cleaning the glass on the tank, (outside glass) and trimming the outside of the tank. :)

its pictures on page 1, its just a black primer, that way it would stick better, turned out very very good I think, minus the marks i left on the back with my hand, but from the front (in person) it looks very nice, really smooth... but yea I shot a pic of the can on the first page.

personally i wanted flat, mainly because i think semi gloss looks retarded, the flat paint, plus the gloss of the glass makes it look perfect, semi gloss tanks that I've seen just never look that good I think.

any ideas on an overflow for me ?? anyone... currently i was planning on throwing an elbow on one of those bulkeads curved up towards the top waterlevel and then throwing a strainer on it to control the waterline as I kinda don't want to build a box, .... let me know if any of u have done the strainer thing im talking about and had success pics would be sweet,

k thanks, yea my lfs referred me to the idea, however im curious as to if it will let enough water drain as to how much water my return pump is pumping up to the tank =/
