That's why this is such a great hobby:fun2:

if my tank is pretty cloudy right now, and I throw that sock with some carbon in there tomorrow, it should clear right up correct? or no

It will probably clear up without the filter sock, but a sock surely wouldnt hurt. The carbon may be a bit premature on this tank, but again, it's not going to hurt anything.

Your set up is looking great. Wish I had an in wall tank. Keep us updated on your progress and lots of pics!!

filter sock i cant wait for lol,

trash can is fresh r/o

and i update as much as i do work down there :D so don't worry about that

so I had a huge carbon mess last night, and I mean HUGE, after getting that ressolved I got a few more parts into such as my return, my drain elbow, (for water height) and my pisces acclimator, my water level is good, and the water looks good, now I'm just waiting for my cycle to complete, and I need more rock.

Thats a pretty cool cost effective sump idea i bet the guy that thought that up is pretty smart. Nice job man looking good, post some pics with the fuge running and stuff in it =)

well the fuge is no longer in the main one, im building a seperate stand and splitting the drain etc, it'll be sweet, just got home tonite, and my tank is 100% as clear as possible, looks like theres no water in it :D just have to flip flop my rocks tomorrow and it will be good to go :D and I need way more rock as well.... god I'm happy this worked out for me.

Don't forget the pictures:lol:

Pictures in a bit, gotta redo some stuff. :D Also, I'm getting a lot of microbubbles back in the display, is that the way my drains setup???? or possibly from my skimmer,

could be from either, but a lot of new tanks just take a bit of breaking in for microbubbles to go away. I'd give it a few weeks of run time before really chasing down anything that's not painfully obvious.

its not horrible at all, just noticeable, but my drain pours into my sump, the filter sock is off. and my levels are semi low, not everything is up and running for good yet. :D

Well heres a small update, my tank has cleared up a LOT as you can see, also got some bad things on this LR I believe as well, picked up from a Local in his tank, but it was a look down so he probably couldn't tell I'm posting in a seperate ID Thread, however heres some pics of the tank as of tonite, I also built a small work area shelf, and used the stand for my tank as a table top, possibly for a QT tank in the long run, and under cabinet storage.
