Auto 2 part dosing with Profilux Dosing pump

I just bought a Profilux Dosing Pump (3 pumps)

I was told that the 2 part solutions need to be stirred/shaken beofre dosing and I would require a small powerhead in the jugs to keep them from separating or settling.

Has anyone experienced this problem? Anything else i should be wary of?I don't want to spend all this money and have it no better than me dumping supplements in manually.

What supplements are you looking at using? I'm using Fauna Marin balling salts and I only mix them manually on very rare occasion. I doubt you even really need to, but do just to be on the safe side.

I mix my own using BRS cal/alk and don't shake either one during the month it takes me to go through a gallon of each. I never see anything settling to the bottom.

BRS Ca/Alk and Mag. That's all.

Good to hear it's not as much an issue ad I was lead to believe. I planned on giving them a shake every now and then.

my brs mag settles, the ca and alk don't. I use a profilux dosing system to dose them.

Prickles is right. I dose my mag manually twice a week and it does need a good shake.
