Ever since I started keeping saltwater fish I have feed frozen foods. I have fallowed this self rule due to may LFS told me it was much better than dry pellets. I recently had some pellets given to me so I tried them with my aggresive fish tank and the fish went nuts for them. Even the eel ate them. Then I saw in some pic's of a persons fish tank here in a thread that had an auto feeder. I looked on line at some but I have no idea which one to buy. My plan is to cont feeding frozen every 2-3 days with the feeder dumping pellets in the tank 2 times a day. Maybe I can cut back on my feeding bill. My fish are all very large and eat alot.
Advice on what unit, it needs to hold alot and dose a far amount?
Does feeding pellets 2-3 times a day affect water quality or does it help being the nature of the product and being a consistant amount?
What pellet brand is considered the best for the price?
