Auto-top-off group buy. If you are in check your name

Here I will post the last revision of the list I have here for the ATO group buy. If anyone asked to be on the list and is not listed them PM me ASAP so I can get you on there. If you are on and know than you will not be wanting one or cannot afford to pay AT THE JUNE 16th MEETING then let me know. If you are not on the list as being out of town (Columbus etc...) and you KNOW that you will NOT be at the meeting you will need to contact me to arrange for payment and delivery.

If we have any units left after the June 16th meeting we will be forced to offer them to members for sale. There will not be a refund given for deposits and there will not be a July or August meeting so June 16th is it unless we have agreed upon another method of delivery. John Janda has offered to drive the Columbus purchases down there and drop them off somewhere. I am not sure of the delivery date or location for the Columbus units. If John has more details please post them here.

I only want to discuss the list in this thread and not any features or prices as it would be getting into that "commercial sales" area again.

If you see your RC name and no real name then please let us know who you are so we are not looking around at the meeting for someone named "itZme" or something.

Erik, in case you were having one of your famous side conversations during the member meeting the club said they would put up the deposit for the total number of units and we could pay for the entire thing on the 16th. Maybe we could get you a seat a bit closer to the front so you can follow along next meeting.

This is the current list that I have as to those that have Paid in Full, put down deposits, or NO deposits. Please check the list and let Kevin or myself know if there are any discrepency's.

Thanks for the update John. I have organized the list in a manner that allows Jeremy at Engle's Discount an easier method of tracking those who have paid and those that haven't.

As far as I know (hopefully John will verify this) the Columbus purchases will be paid for and brought to the CORA auction where the Columbus members can pick them up and pay the balance owed on them if any.

I will send this list to Jeremy and let him know that as soon as he is done making them we would like to begin picking up the units from his store. Please tell him you are part of the group buy and be nice enough to show him some ID so he can check you off the list and show you as picked up and paid in full.

I wish this buy would have gone a bit smoother and I will try my best to make any future buys work like a well-oiled machine

Why doesn't the Group guy person, Kevin , Handle this stuff John. Having 2 contacts is a bad and confusing idea. To help things go smoother just one contact and check in person should be used.

Eric just doing what Kevin asked me to do at the meeting Friday night and with Paul P on vacation We have no way of checking other than posting here if he recieved any payments that we didn't have on the list. Just trying to get our ducks in a row for when they are ready to be picked up nothing more nothing less.

If there is a line through a name it is because the unit has already been picked up and paid in full. Anyone wanting to go to pick their units up check out www.englesdiscount.com for address and phone number of the store.

I agree that there should only be one contact person but in this case we needed a person to collect the money and turn it in to Paul. I would prefer not to be responsible for cash being handed over and we have a treasurer so I wanted to let him deal with the money. In the future we will only be collecting funds at the meetings and you will either be paid in full or not in the group buy. It's just easier to not have to track so many different levels of payment.
