I need a auto top off. Anyone have a parts list for me. I would like it to be salt water friendly. I was just woken up by the sound of blowing bubbles. I have thought about buying the pre-made one from the doctors.

BTW, what ever you choose do not copy the design in the pic you posted, the way that is set-up it is a recipe for disaster. The hose should not be immersed in the sump, otherwise when the ATO pump stops it will back flow salt water into you freshwater vat.

Here is the one I made. It has been working for almost a year with no problems. The total cost was about:

Aqualifter $16
2 - float switches $14
Jug - $8
12v power converter (free) $10 - 12 if I had to buy it
Relay - $8

ninjamini, I'm a huge fan of simplicity. If you have the ability elevate your freshwater storage container, use a simple gravity fed system with a Kent float valve ($15) in the sump. It's a simple mechanical system, no electricity, no sensors, no pumps.

anyone know of a two float system. I would like for it to fill up only when the second float is activated then stop when it fills to the second. This way the ro system isn't turning on and off all the time.

Joe, there is a 2 stage float that you can use for refilling a storage container with your RO/DI. Someone on RC posted plans a while back, and I think someone has started making one commercially. I think airwaterice may even carry it.

I haven't found that I need anything like that, though. Every few weeks I turn on my RO/DI and let it run overnight to fill the storage container. A float valve in the container combined with an ASOV turns off the RO/DI when it's full, and I close the manual valve the next day. Simple, reliable, and easy....

Okay, what's up with the commercial policies bit? You can no longer name a vendor if they're not a sponsor? Wow. It was just a name, not even a link.
