Hey all,

I just want to share my excitement....

I just enabled my auto water change system using the profilux.... it is simply awesome....

my tank is 150 feet from the garage/laundry room... so this is what i did..

tank is 150 gallon in family room

in garage the RO unit and 30 gallon storage tank are located
in garage a 165 poly tank is located for synthetic sewater....

3 ro type tubing lines are run from the garage to the tank....
1line is ro top off
1 line is synthetic seawater
1 line is drain line that goes into laundry room drain...

at the tank end 150 feet away i have 3 litermeter pumps.....

1 will suck ro water 150 feet from the garage
1 will suck synthetic seawater 150 feet from the garage
1 will push tank water 150 feet to the garage/drain

the profilux handles activating these 3 pumps via the digital power bar.....

i turned everything on and every 12 hours i do a 1.5 gallon water change

once a month i will go into the garage turn on the ro to the 165 gallon tank to fill up.... add synthetic salt... pump on tank mixes ... and done... also pump on synthetic seawater tank turns on every 6 hours for 1 hour just to agitate and mix.....

i love it....

Last time I set it up it was a bit confusing. I got it in the end, but could there be a better way of setting it up, i.e. Assign sockets not to water 1,2,3 etc, but have Fresh/RO Water, New Salt Water and Drainage Pump? Even if When you assign the details to the socket that is designated water 1, it displays the details in brackets when in the lan interface (PIII) or when in the pc software? Maybe a better way of describing the level meters as well.. something that can cut any confusion, such as a level meter set for the normal water level read LOW or Normal with X or - in brackets next to it.

I know after a while it all makes sense, but if it could be made a little easier to grasp in teh first place it might not seem such a technicians tool, and more of an fishkeepers tool.

Auto water change any easier on the new models? Just looking forward to setting it u without any experience.
