I'm feeling very compelled to let everyone know about my recent experience with Autotopoff.com because of how remarkable it was.
I bought the double float switch system from this website several months back, went out of town on several vacations, long weekends, etc.... never had any issues with it. Really a very simple and effective design and WAY cheaper than the big names.
A couple of days ago I noticed it was not turning the pump on when the float dropped, played with it a bit, moved the float up and down a few times and it was still clicking, just not passing power to the pump. The next morning I woke up and it was working, it had filled my sump to the level I had set.
I'm going out of town soon and I felt kind of uneasy about this so I emailed them/him to tell them what happened. He gave me very detailed instructions on how to take the device apart and switch the connections to another set of "reserve" connectors inside the switch, just in case I needed to get this fixed very quickly. On top of this he also offered to send another relay out to me, I should have it in a couple of days.
I'm taking the time to come here to let you all know about this because when I was looking into these systems I was a little spooked by how "DIY" the system looked. I will never pay for a Tunze for as long as this level of customer service exists! If you're on the fence, fear not.
