It is super easy to resize a picture with iPhoto if you still have that on your mac:
1) Go to file, then "import to library"
2) Select the desktop, then import the image
3) Once it's imported, go to "share" and then "email" and email the picture to yourself. This will resize the file while keeping the actual dimensions. Open the email and save it as a different name so you don't get it confused with the first.

Ok Joy, I've put the pic onto my iphoto and I have emailed it to myself. I'm not sure on how to save the pic from the email, can I just drag that to my desktop?

dragging it onto the desktop from email doesn't work, still says file too large.

I think the picture is still larger than 100x100 pixels... if that's the maximum, it could be the problem.
I don't know how to tell you to resize in iPhoto (or if it can at all), but I made this smaller for you.

You should be able to drag this and have it work, or control+click to save... I can also email a file that I *know* isn't too large if this did get resized at all through the image hosting site (which it shoudn't).

Oh!! You can also use an image hosting site like Photobucket.com to resize photos... When you upload them, select upload options and then choose "avatar" or "thumbnail." There's another thread on here about making a photobucket account that might be more specific. Don't know why I didn't think of that sooner!

Newschool Im glad I saw this thread! I noticed that in your sig you say you have t5 teks, do you use moonlights cause your picture looks really blue. If so, what moonlights?

no, those pics are with just my two blue plus lights on. 6 bulbs in the fixture and the first and last can be used to set up a dawn/dusk effect.

Try this one:

The dimensions were fine on it, but the quality was set to high, resulting in the file size being too large. I reduced it from 32kb to 7kb. They should look pretty much the same, though.

looks like you've got it figured out Newschool, but I thought I would tell you about another program that works better than MS Paint. It is called irfanview. Great for resizing and changing resolution. Glad you got it figured out.

Paint.NET is a good free program, alot like photoshop.

I don't have anything figured out conefree! Everything was done for me, all I did was drag the pictures to my desk top. I feel defeated.
