Yeah, I bet you got pm!LOL
Unusual patterns like this may be sought after in trying to breed that new designer looking clown.

wow i've never seen that before.

Pretty sweet looking, can you get a better pic of it?

Don't let that fish go.

^^^ someone will pay top dollar for that clown, or you could breed him/her with the other maroon clown thats from png think it was called electric maroon or spiderman maroon something like that......... anyways he's a keeper they couldn't pay me enough to sell that fish...

Speaking of different patterns, I thought those lightning maroons were interesting.

yeah that was a crazy looking fish, i also loved it... i can imagine if they were to put these 2 together ng they would hatch...thats interesting...

When I saw him at the store a few weeks back I figured they wanted an insane price for him, I asked and he told me 25 and I was shocked. My tank wasnt quite ready for him yet at the time due to me adding a sump and stirring everything up. I went back the other day and he was still there so I had to get him, he's an awesome clown and made a great birthday gift for my girl.

I have two offers for him so far but he isnt for sale being that I got him as a giftfor someone who is important in my life. If there is a proven clown breeder within a few hours of Ft. Bragg NC I would probably donate him towards being breed for free as long as me and my girl get to visit him every now and then in the future and can get one of the offspring at a later time. Money is nice and I sure could use it but it is far from the most important thing in my life, but I don't want his genes to die out, so if your local to NC and breed clowns he could be yours for free (well 25 dollars).

And most importantly, I will try to get a better pic with my phone today and if it doesnt work, I am sure I can borrow a real camera from someone and get some shots of him.

Rather than donate the clown to a breeder, just donate eggs, or better yet for you start reading up in breeding forum.
$20 clowns are one thing, but when you see the lightnings being sold, and the price they demand, you may rethink your plan.

Yeah, I saw the 2500 dollar lightning that was sold, it was insane both in looks and price. I owned a pair of grade a picassos before my last deployment so I know all about the pricing but I am not in this hobby to make a profit, just for enjoyment and relaxation. I would love to give a shot at breeding but with being in the Military and the schedule I work, raising the fry would be next to impossible.

Yeah, I too didn't get into this for profit, but for relaxation.
But think about how relaxing it is when something you enjoy pays for itself.
Anyway, this is all speculative that it will produce unusual offspring, but I'd still hold on to it just in case, ya never know.
Maybe work a deal w/ breeder for eggs.
