In the early stages, very early, of planning to do a sea horse tank. They are just too cool and the wife likes them so why not. Anyway, found this scrolling through Reddit and figured I'd share. Pretty wild. What type are these?

Those look like H. erectus seahorses

They can eat guppies but fresh water fish are not the healthiest food for them. They should eat mysis shrimp as their staple for good health.

Using live fresh water food for seahorses leaves the seahorses lacking in a supply of the much needed DHA component, so, by feeding the guppies for instance, a high DHA enrichment for a day before the seahorses get them, you can help that problem somewhat.

Ok yea I figured they weren't an ideal food source. I know guppies aren't exactly a big fish, but I was just surprised those sea horses got big enough to suck down a guppy like that.
