While tanking apart my tank I was draining my sump. While taking out the last few cup of water I noticed something in the cup. It was my royal gramma that I haven't seen in 6 months!

Now for a question... I traded the last of my coral for a nano-cube. If I use exisiting rock, sand and water would I be able to set it up right away? I can keep it in my apartment in Louisville, where I live most of the time. I'm not going to be there too long though (6 months) so wouldn't want to cycle a new tank. I'd rather give it away if that's the case. What do you think?

As long as you keep a power head going in it til the move I see no problem.. Just get one of those portable air pumps to pump air into the water during the drive between here and there and the tank should not cycle at all.

Agreed. You can get a portable airstone fairly cheaply. YOu can even get a cooler with one built in. Guys use them to keep bait fish alive while fishing.

Or get you a plug in power inverter and run a small powerhead that's what we do when we move fish and or coral over long distances. The good news is it's cooler now so fish don't use as much O2 than in hot months so a air stone should work just fine. Good luck.
