AZ FRAG April 18th Meeting, How To ID Your Corals

Frick

AZ FRAG President
As requested we will have a presentation dedicated to the controversial tactic of identifying the corals in your aquarium April 18th at 2pm. Meet us at Pranksters Too in Scottsdale where Evolved and I will talk about different corals and the feature to look out for if you want to identify them correctly. And most importantly WHY. If you would like to bring a coral for us to use as an example please do. Even coral skeleton.....Especially skeletons. If you have some pictures of a coral you would like to ID post them here and we will use them in part of the presentation.

After the presentation we will have a raffle with a variety of prizes, one of them being "The Reef Aquarium" Volume One and Volume Two books! Tickets are $1 each and $5 for 6.

I think I have 3-4 skeletons I kept I could bring in, I also have some small colony skeletons I got in a package used for decoration I can bring. Looking forward to it.

I might see if I can get a cpl ready for the meeting but I know someone just posted a separate thread about frags he can bring to the meeting and there are usually 2-3 people there selling, one of them is only on another forum so he doesnt post here, but there are usually a couple people putting listings in this thread by Thursday.

I havent been to a meeting in a long time, I generally work on Saturday afternoon/evening, my event just starts later this weekend so I can attend for a little bit.

I have a NextReef SMR1 I can bring with me if someone is intersted. I just did a vinegar bath on it and it is a little large for my current system. It had biopellets in it last but if you add the round sponges you can run just about any media in it. No hanging kit.

Same as this unit

Asking price....$80.

I also have a cpl 10g tanks left, same price as petco($10) but no tax here =)
Ill see if I can get the 55 and hex tanks cleaned up tonight and Ill post those as well if I get them done.

No Coral this time, upgrading frag tank and I have it cleared out for now.
