AZ FRAG needs an artist.

Put it this way. Any pictures on RC that do not have a copyright on them are free game. Premium Aquatics stole my Mystery Wrasse picture and they used it in the ad banner. I contacted them and got no response. I was like at least give me credit for the pic lol

Every photograph or piece of artwork is copywrited by the creator the second it is created. There is really no such thing as any piece of intellectual property that is not copyrighted. The second you take a photograph, you own the copyright. Copyrighted materials may be used, under some circumstances, without the copyright holders permission. That is called 'fair use.'. However, fair use would not protect a project such as these name badges. Don't mean to derail this thread, but as an artist, I hate it when people try to justify violating federal law. I am happy Jason wants to do the right thing. That shows a lot about his integrity and ethics.

This is the first I've ever heard this, and to be honest I'm not sure who did the banner with the Mystery Wrasse. Please contact me at jeremy@premiumaquatics.com.

Okay.....I think we have the rules on the copyright part understood.

There will be more detailed rules at the June 15th meeting and I will post on a follow up thread on them.

I'm liking Kloudie's Idea better keeping the badge landscape
You will have needed info as well as the Auction number on the back.
It's simple and still looks sharp
Tatuaje08 As your badge is very nice it will be a nightmare when it comes to printing and will cost all that much more.
