I have a black and white and an orange and white occelaris clowns in my 55 gallon reef and am wondering if they will breed
they constantly swim together and look like a pair but will the color make a difference?

It is possible for them to breed. Assuming they pair up and given the right conditions it is likely that they will eventually spawn.

They could breed. The ofspring will be called Mochas. I have close to 1000 of them in my grow out tanks. Some get really dark.

Both fish are the same species so it is quite likely they will breed if given the right conditions. Some people even breed different species of clowns, but you have two A. ocellaris clownfish. The black and white one is a varient of the species. Don't want to give you a biology lecture so we will just leave it at that.

Do you have any pics?

Here is my male mocha(offspring of DawinXOcellaris) with an ocellairs female.

does it also make a difference if they female is black or orange in the color of the ofspring and vice versa
