I have baby brittle stars ALL OVER my tank, ok not all over but since its only 10 gallons and at any given time i can count at least 10 white little brittle stars, thats pretty many. i'm assuming their brittle stars. anyway my question is, will they grow in my tank? i dont have fish, the only thing i have that might eat them is my aero crab, but i duno if that would, but yeah would they grow in my tank? or could i separate them to something else? or do they need the small little food thats in the tank? basically i'm looking for some info on baby brittle stars, their care, and survival possibilities. thanks.

If I'm not mistaken (still a Newbie myself) they will not grow to be the big ones you are thinking of. They are good for the tank and I think they eat "leftovers". If that makes any sense...lol...I'm sure someone will confirm/correct me.. :)

well if thats true thats probably good. 10 grown brittle stars can't be good for my coral in my ten gallon haha. any other opinions tho?

I think there the "Sand Shifting" or "Leftover Eater" as was said. They don't get big. Yes, there good for the tank. A picture would help.

:smokin: Later.

Here's one I think you are talking about...
