Baby Anemone?

Call me crazy, but I think I have a baby anemone in my tank. 72 hours ago I purchased this BTA and 2 onyx clown fish. Tonight when I got home from work I fed the BTA and was watching the tank when something caught my eye. Looks like somehow a baby anemone has popped up. Way way to small to be from a split, so I have no idea where this came from... any insight? (baby is upper right side of rock)

Those clowns also appear to be A.Ocellaris, not an onyx variety of A. Percula. Though, in a BTA the colors can morph a bit. In any case, those are very good looking clowns. I only thought I'd put my .02 for ID purposes...

The small anemone is a Majono, a pest anemone. You should kill it quickly, although they will not grow and multiply as quickly and aptasia. The clowns are normal A. ocellaris, not percula. Ocellaris can have dark color like that. The border between Black and Orange in A. percula is usually very sharp, not blend from black to orange like your fish.

Just finished plucking about 50 of them out of my nano that I got from some live rock from a friends tank.

Yeah, those are pretty fish, but not true perculas, they are ocellaris. And I also believe that baby anemone is a majanoe.

thanks, gonna use aptasia x on it. its the only one I see. weird though ive had this tank setup 6 months and never seen it until I put the nem in.

And they are onyx clowns, just not finished changing yet. check out the male:

I think your fish are not fully A. percula. I think they are hybrid. The female is clearly Ocellaris while the male while have some characteristic of A. percula, he also seem to have mostly Ocellaris characteristic. I know some hybrid of black Ocellaris and Onyx percular looks very much like your's, even with much more black.
